Tribal Tech, LLC in Partnership with Global Impact Awarded
Combined Federal Campaign Contracts
ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 18, 2017 – Tribal Tech, LLC and subcontractor partner Global Impact have been awarded the first three task orders solicited under the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) newly revised program for the 2017 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) – the Federal Government’s annual workplace giving campaign. The team will implement the National CFC Marketing Program for all Zones, along with the National Capital Area (Zone 32) and the CFC-Overseas (Zone 38) Outreach Coordinator Programs.
The National CFC Marketing Program for all Zones is a new role under the revised CFC program. It serves as a central marketing function for the Campaign nationally, which will streamline the marketing function and create overall program efficiencies. The team has administered regional CFC campaigns for more than 20 years and last year administered the very successful Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area, the Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas, the New York City Combined Federal Campaign and the Central Virginia Combined Federal Campaign.

ALEXANDRIA VA. May 16, 2017 – The Women Presidents’ Organization, Inc. (WPO), in partnership with American Express, announced that Tribal Tech, LLC (Tribal Tech) has earned a spot on the 10th annual list of fastest growing women-owned/led companies for 2017. This is the second-time Tribal Tech appears on this prestigious list, which includes companies that generate a combined $7.2 billion in revenues and collectively employed 46,000 in 2016.
Entry into this exclusive club is limited to companies that are privately held, women-owned/led and generate at least $500,000 in annual revenue. The list was announced at the WPO’s 2017 International Conference held in Orlando, Florida. WPO is a non-profit membership organization for women presidents of multimillion-dollar companies.
Tribal Tech was also honored by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce on their 22nd Annual List of Virginia’s Fastest Growing Companies – The Fantastic 50. To be eligible, a company must be privately held and headquartered in Virginia. They need to show revenue between $200,000 and $200 million and demonstrate positive revenue growth and positive net income in its most recent fiscal year over the previous year. Companies are judged on four-year revenue history.

50 Fastest-Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies; 10th Annual Award Ceremony Held in Orlando
Orlando, FL (May 5, 2017) – The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), in partnership with American Express, today released the 10th annual ranking of the 50 Fastest-Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies – marking one decade of honorees. The companies on this year’s 50 Fastest list span a range of industries including technology, retail and consulting. The companies generated a combined $7.2 billion in 2016 revenues (mean of $155.6 million) and collectively employed 46,000 people in 2016 (mean of 725). The awardees who took home the top rankings are:
- Fitness studio franchise Orangetheory Fitness is the fastest growing women-owned business and is appearing on the list for the second time, moving up from the #3 spot in 2016. The seven- year-old Boca Raton, FL-based company, led by Ellen Latham, saw its revenue flourish over the past two years ($86,842,513 in 2014 to $451,101,433 in 2016) and hired 98 employees during that time span. Ellen’s advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to turn the “I can’t” channels in their brain into “I can”
- Pinnacle Group, an IT workforce solutions firm based in Dallas, remains at the #2 spot for the second year in a row. Nina Vaca, President and CEO, saw her 21-year-old company approach $2 billion dollars in revenue ($1,887,230,307 in 2016, up from $665,504,491 in 2014). The entrepreneur, who still owns 100% of the firm she founded at age 24 with $300 of startup capital, attributes her company’s success to its ability to meet the ever-changing demands of clientele.
- IT services firm Technology Concepts Group International, a newcomer to the list, is the third fastest-growing company in the 2017 rankings. Based in Somerset, NJ, the nine-year-old business, founded and led by Avis Yates Rivers, saw its revenue rise from $6,726,000 in 2014 to
$49,000,000 in 2016. Avis’ primary strategy for success has been to deliver value and create solutions to respond to customer challenges.

Applicants do not have to be WPO members. All eligible companies were ranked according to a sales growth formula that combines percentage and absolute growth; the top 50 were selected for the list. To be qualified for the ranking, businesses are required to be privately held, woman-owned/led companies and have reached an annual revenue of at least $500,000 as of January 1, 2012.

Immediately following the lunch and awards ceremony, American Express will also host a Guide to Growth Panel from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM. The panel will feature 50 Fastest honorees, who will share insights and advice for WPO members looking to grow their businesses.

Virginia Chamber Unveils 22nd Annual List of Virginia’s Fastest Growing Companies – the Fantastic 50
Chantilly – The Virginia Chamber of Commerce celebrated fifty of the fastest growing Virginia companies at the twenty second annual “Virginia’s Fantastic 50 Awards Banquet” on April 27 at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly. More than 400 attendees participated in the banquet to recognize the companies for their success.
“We know that companies will grow and expand where they have the skilled workforce to support their mission,” said Barry DuVal, president and CEO of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. “We are glad to toast the entrepreneurial spirit of these Virginia business leaders and the dedicated employees who have brought these companies continued success.”
At the conclusion of the awards banquet, the Chamber announced four Virginia Vanguard winners, recognized for the highest growth in the categories of service, technology, manufacturing, and recognizing the company with the highest overall growth in Virginia. The 2017 Virginia Vanguard Winners are:

About the Awards—Virginia’s FANTASTIC 50 award program is a signature event of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. Now in its 22nd year, the FANTASTIC 50 program is the only annual statewide award recognizing Virginia’s fastest growing business.
Nominations for the 2017 FANTASTIC 50 were sought last fall from local chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, and through the sponsors’ networks; companies may also nominate themselves.
To be eligible, a company must be privately held with headquarters in Virginia, show revenues between $200,000 and $200 million, and demonstrate positive revenue growth and positive net income in its most recent fiscal year over the previous year.
